With two children aged 3 years and 4 months old, we understand the struggles with ensuring that the older child doesn’t accidentally hurt the younger one. Three year olds often do not know their own strength. This book was written to teach the big kids how to be gentle and take care of their little brother or sister. In this book, Big Bear makes a wish for a little brother or a little sister. Big Bear’s wish comes true, though double what was was expected. As happy as Big Bear is, it was important to learn how to be gentle and caring with the new siblings. With Big Bear’s parent's help, Big Bear became the best that any sibling could have.
